Kathmandu : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has laid the foundation stone for a dry port at Chobhar, Kathmandu, today.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli said that the dry port would help link country's international trade network.
He also expressed the belief that it would also help export domestic products following its construction. The dry port is going to be constructed with the purpose of storing goods imported from other countries as well as goods to be exported to foreign countries.
The dry port is to be constructed within one-and-a half-year at a cost of around two billion rupees to be provided by the World Bank.
