One killed, seven hurt in separate accidents in Chitwan

kathmandu: One was killed and seven others were injured in separate road accidents occurred in the district last night. 

Motorcyclist Santa Bahadur Tamrakar, 35, of Shivanagar of Bharatpur metropolis-14, died when his motorcycle (Na 15 Pa 2082) collided head-on with another motorcycle (Na 50 Pa 7529) at the Bharatpur's central bus terminal.

He died amidst the treatment at the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Chitwan. The rider of the second motorcycle has sustained minor injuries in the accident. 

Similarly, four people were injured in a bus accident at Phisling of Ichhakamana rural municipality-3 along the Prithvi Highway.

According to the police, the bus (Na 5 Kha 3705) en route to Kathmandu from Lamjung skidded off the road and fell around 70 meters down into the Trishuli River. 
The accident happed on Sunday midnight. Among the injured, condition of one is said to be critical and all the injured are being treated at the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Chitwan. 

Similarly, two people were hurt when a motorcycle hit a truck from its back near Nagdi River at Ichhakamana rural municipality-4. The injured are identified as Prabeen Khatri, 29, and Ayusha Khatri, 20, of Arkhale, Gulmi.

The accident occurred at 9:15 pm left the two traveling in the motorcycle severely injured. They are being treated at the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, Chitwan.
